EXPERIENCED FURNITURE MAKER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role will be a mix of manufacturing fitted and freestanding furniture in our Croydon workshop and on site fitting projects across London. You will be working on projects for the whole production process from start to finish including fitting.
This is a full time position with the opportunity for the right person to join our team on an ongoing basis.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE
- experience of workshop environment including use of fixed woodworking machines (primarily panel saw, spindle moulder, planer thicknesser, edgebander) and hand held power tools
- experience of site fitting projects and a building site environment
- experience of hand finishing
- at least 4 years working professionally making and fitting freestanding and fitted furniture with good knowledge of panel work, solid wood and veneering
- be based in South London / be able to reliably commute to the workshop and various projects around London
- be registered self employed
- high quality of work and attention to detail
- ability to work as part of a team or alone, able to use initiative and have a problem solving attitude
- good time management and ability to work to deadlines
- good attitude, motivated, punctual, reliable, team player with a strong work ethic and fluent spoken English
- own hand tool kit / drills and transport
- ability to work from construction drawings / creating cut lists etc
- CSCS a bonus but not essential
